Hello, I'm Kaley!
I'm a proud mom to a one-year-old "silly goose" and a passionate educator dedicated to helping children and families thrive. For the past four years, I've worked as both a self-contained Special Education teacher and a small-group resource teacher, supporting students with diverse learning needs and helping them reach meaningful academic, social, and behavioral goals.
Before entering the classroom, I provided Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with Autism, giving me valuable experience supporting learners across a variety of settings. Throughout my career, I've been driven by a simple belief: every individual deserves the tools, support, and opportunities needed to reach their full potential.
I recently earned my Master of Arts in Teaching in Special Education from UNC Charlotte and also hold bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Spanish-Hispanic Studies. My professional credentials include North Carolina licensure in Special Education (K-12) and Elementary Education (K-6). I am also a proud member of the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC), where I stay connected to best practices and advancements in the field.
Whether you're seeking academic support, special education guidance, behavior strategies, advocacy, or personalized educational planning, I would be honored to partner with your family. I look forward to helping you identify the right level of support to meet your child's unique strengths, needs, and goals.
